Hello Please send a PM to get the email addresss. I am having quite a bit of difficulty with trying to play my mom's memorial garden. It is kidney shaped and our house will be on the back curve of the kidney. We are planning to either have an arbour, or something in the right side of the kidney, with a small bench. The size of the garden is like 12'long, 5' across in the skinny part of the kidney and bigger at the ends. The plants I need in the garden are as follows.... (some are mom's fav's and most are birth flowers for people in my family) I need a wisteria which I have it is blue. Some type of Rose (it can be a boarder type rose) purple cone flower, hosta, hydrangea those are my mom's fav's. I only have the wisteria though. For birth flowers I have as follows (July - mom & Nephew)Larkspur, (May - Sister & Neice) Lilly of the Valley, (September - dad & brother)Aster, (November - Myself) Chrysanthemum (or something close) (October - neice and nephew) Calendula or Cosmos, (March - Neices (twins) Daffodil, (Feb - Son & Neice) Iris. I want plants that we don't have to dig up in the fall and replant. I am good at dividing plants when they need it so that isn't a problem. I would also like some ground cover... I would also like various colors of things but not look dumb. I live in Southern Ontario I think its zone 5b - 6? The garden will have mostly morning sun till about 2pm then it is slightly shaded by the house. With no evening sun. I have been trying to plan this garden for a year now... and I really need it planned out as planting time is coming fast I have tried to plan it out a few times it just doesn't seem to work for me ![]() Hopeing someone can help me If you can help and are able to draw something out, you can email it to me. I can't seem to add photos here... so if you can then I guess I can read it here Thanks a bunch!! |
