This little beauty has quite a story. When I bought my house, I found it growing by an old grape vine in the back in full shade. For 2 years, it grew this spiral looking thing, one shoot, low to the ground. I dug it up, found it to have a nice wide bulb, and planted it in sun. The next year, it shot up about 1 1/2 feet and had 3 hanging white bell blooms on it. Since then, it has shot out a new shoot each year with blooms. We're up to 4 shoots at a time now. I know there's no bloom yet, but I wanted to get this pic in in this stage because I think it's just so cool. The bloom is at least 2 inches long, white and a bell. And I'm hoping that I'll have a name for it before it blooms so that I will know what to call it when it does bloom this year. And she's not fragrant.

Edit: And it will almost stay evergreen throughout the year too. She doesn't really die off unless a harsh ice, even then her green spirals come back fast, even poke out in the winter.

I checked those out and I'm just not sure. But my gosh those blooms are AMAZING!

I might have to wait til my mystery blooms and get those pics posted. Mine is very similar to what you suggested, but I didn't see any one that was a dead on match.

Thank you for looking into it.

the leaves of the crinum asiaticum variegatum look a bit like the MP's leaves. i wonder if the MP is in the Crinum genus?
