I have some 8-year-old tomato and bell pepper seeds that I'm trying to start. I figured if they didn't come up, I'd just go and get seedlings next month. However, I just lost my job and am not sure if I'll have a new one in time for spring planting. I told my mom what I'm doing with these seeds, and she told me the seeds will probably come up but I will have small veggies. Is that true? Has anyone else had any experience with this? |

I planted some pepper seeds from the Giant Greenest Pepper from the Store that I have ever seen, yes they made smaller peppers but I think the pepper grower new a little or should I say something Bigger than I new about Pepper. My peppers were normal and tasty, steamed those babies a little and filled them with Tuna Salad a slice of Pepper-jack Cheese on the top, throw in oven just a little(melt Cheese), Oh! Chicken Salad works fine too. Oh back to seeds, yes what ever they make you will be Thankful, Later Guilt Trip |

I wouldn't think so. If there is life in the seed, it uses that to sprout. Once it's sprouted, the growing would depend on the conditions that you give it. If the plant is happy, it should grow and produce like any other seed. |
