But seed grown apple trees take 6-10 years to produce fruit, whereas, grafted apple trees can bear fruit in 2-4 years. I decided that with the limited sunny space that I have, it just wouldn't be worth it. It might be fun, though, to do it with your kids, or if you have a lot of sunny land, or if you don't mind waiting. Quote \| Reply \| Report
