I am brand new to GG-and still learning about gardening....but what gardener isn't? I grow a variety of plants including my glorious veggies! I am planning on adding a little more "life" to my large yard every year and this year I have decided on herbs...I would like perenials, something useful yet pretty-and deer resistant, so any suggestions would be great!

Welcome to our gardens! I'm a big herb fan. My favorites and most useful are rosemary, chives, garlic chives, marjoram, and thyme.
I hope to see you in the forums and having fun talking plants.

I am way in upstate NY also, my herb garden grows wonderful here in our climate and also looks lovely near the garden beds
