watermellon in containers?

ok well i kinda wanna try acouple types of watermellon this year i can eighter start the seeds an throw them in my uncles raised bed --if he dosent get jelous im using it cause he isnt an we need to re-do wood to stones which then if he dos use his bed he may get jelous im using the pots I restarted fer herbs an that--

or i can do the watermellons in containers i have like 3 total containers that i get 3.5" pots herbs everythings like sized to those i can fit 3 herbs 4 if i squeese maby 5 withought counting container size just plant i had 3 fooledja jalapeno plants in one of that size last year would that size work? im thinkin small sweet watermellon or star and moon ones nothin jumbo let the vines grow on the cement around the plant have the fruit grow there too?

any input from yall?

Hi, they will probaly do better in the raised bed. I tried growing them in big pots but the melons were small, maybe I didn't have the soil content right or something but I'm going to keep trying until I get it right. floridagirl.

if i can im gonna try to get them in the raised bed bbuutt the 2 big pots there were suppousted to be mmiinnee an he overtook them soo i dont know how ill fare if i can i think imma start some star an moon watermellons too 4 plants ea should be good fer a plentifull crop--no? hmm i wonder if i could put outher things in the raised bed too? like maby some herbs an that? if i start all from seeds i have the packets from the seeds i baught i think stuff should be proof enough maby i could even get afew tomatoes growin out there too

--i think whatevers harvestable he should be like free to harvest soo yea hey! maby put my peppers there too? nah i think i wanty those here (i have like 3ish month old poepper plants theyll be 6 months old by the time its time to plant them outside)
