seems to be some debate over the format here. Most forums use UBB code, or HTML... both seem to work here, in different areas. For Instance...Posting a link to help another get info.. What language (Html, UBB code) do we use to hypertext that link. I own and operate 3 successful forums and they use UBB code, most do not allow HTML for fear of malicious codes being used. I enjoy being a member here, but the limited functionality keeps me from providing relevant information. |

Lets say there's a question of Identification on a plant, insect, etc. Now I have many helpful pictures; however, they are at a photo host. and NOT on my computer... I have tried the UBB code for forums, Html for the images, none work on this board, and elsewhere they do. so images I have provided, for "visual aid"... I first have to go to my photo host, download my photo, to my computer, then use your system here...to post the pic. Not a problem for Hi-speed users, but I live in the country, have a dial up connection of 31.2 kbps. so is there away to do this, am I using the wrong forum code? |

Sounds all too familiar Phil. I usually open two GG windows when adding pix to a blog. Of course you have to download pix into your GG album first then do the routine. Keep plugging and posting. Linda B |
