Hi. I'm not at all new to gardening, but new to forums. I think I'm going to like it! My focus is on sustainable living. I have an edible landscape that I started working on about 6 years ago. It includes a small orchard, herb garden, lots of berry hedges and a veggie garden. Even the ground covers are usually edible!!! I am pretty handy with crafts and a sewing machine, just need to work on handy person skills. Attitude is everything, though..... It's really nice to find a place where gardening talk doesn't cause people's eyes to glaze over! (I often get a bit enthusiastic about the topic to my non-gardening friends....)

So jump right in and do post some pictures of your gardens in your GG photo albums. Ask away in all the forums and we will ask you for advice as well.

Please post some pictures! I'm just beginning work on my landscape and I love to eat =) especially things I've grown myself! We're also working on trying to raise a hearty crop of babies, so having an edible landscape just makes good sense! Any tips on getting started? I have a vegetable garden in a raised bed, but I hate that whole "this is where we grow food" division from the rest of the landscape. I also just planted two bare-root baby dwarf peaches and some blueberries and strawberries in containers... Any recommendations?
