Better late than never?

It snowed last month at our new place! It melted away in about 4 or 5 days though. First time I've seen snow so close to home. It was real neat only I was pretty stranded lol and I didn't know how to clean up the snow afterwards!

Those photos are great, and when you don't usually get snow, just letting it lie there, look pretty for a bit and wait for it to melt, is my theory. LB

Thank you John and Linda! My brother-in-law said he want's to use some of my pictures for next years Christmas cards. Of course I told him he'll have to pay me.

When it started to snow I was first shocked then I just couldn't believe how fast the snow turned the whole place all white and beautiful. I took a lot of pictures. It was the only thing I can really do for fun 'cause I had no power and the phone didn't work. My cell phone did work but I tried not to use it too much. I'll post some more pictures some other time!

LB I learned the hard way I can't do much about cleaning up the snow. LOL I tried to clean the driveway I slipped and fell!

Hi Rashell,
Wow, you had some snow there. You mentioned "your new place" Did you move from Los Angeles? I need to PM you girl for your new address. Still have not planted my joshua tree seeds. I was going to do that yesterday, then researched, and according to the research, now is not the time to do that.

Anyway, cool pics, thanks for sharing and a big hello to you. Hey, your little doggie is soooo cute. What breed is he/she? Stay in touch!

Hello pinkdamsel! sorry just saw this

I'm still in Los Angeles county but not in the same city. BUT don't worry the joshua seed I shipped to you is from the tree growing at my new place. I'll post a picture of the tree with snow on it tomorrow! My palm trees and the Joshua looked so funny with snow on 'em. Anyway, you still have my address and again you don't have to rush.

It snowed here a couple more times since the date posted on the pictures but not as much. Actually it snowed today but melted away real quick. I'll upload pictures tomorrow.

My Tiger is a Maltese and thank you!

I just saw this myself. I like your new house. Now show us what things look like when it's green!

Everything I've planted is mostly in the planter in picture #3. lot of my plants look dead at this moment. I'll have to wait to see if any of them will come back, snow really pounded my little fellas .

Gazania, lavender and a few others are still doing okay. Camellia looks pathetic but budding. My hibiscus and canna (i'm told will come back to life) look dead. As soon as things come back to life I will post pictures. Believe me!

We did plant a lot of fruit trees but they have no leaves on 'em at the moment. My willow is coming back to life finally!

the seasons are so weird/differant compared to what I'm used to. I only moved about 20+ miles, what a big change! Sheesh!

PS. If you look behind my dog, you'll see some green. That is where I planted my canna and one of my hibiscus. The leaves on the canna looked burnt and my hibiscus has no leaves. But, again I'm told they will come back so I should not pull them out just yet.
