Talinum calycinum looks a lot like your flower except the stigma (?) is not purple like yours. Maybe your flower is in the same family (Purslane) or same genus (Talinum)? Rashell, i think your suggestion about the family : portulaca or talinum maybe is right..i'll google again the family of talinum and portilaca..thanks a lot.. |

Actually if I just read right...Purslane family = to annual succulent plants & only about 40 species (verification please? )The leaves (picture you posted) don't look succulent to me. Looks like leaves of flower which grows from a bulb? PS. Are the leaves succulent...fleshy? |

thanks all... i think Told2b's plant is more resemblance to my plant......Told2b, do you know it is edible as vegetables, i'd tried it cooked with noodle, it tasted well... |
