I know we have alot of members from South Carolina. Are any of you guys starting to bud out. My daylillies are coming out like crazy. My foxglove has never died off. Several of my trees have buds. What is up? It's January for goodness sake.

Sometimes the plants get confused when you have an unusually warm spell during the winter. I often have azaleas produce buds and some blooms in January or February when winters are warm.

I agree Butterfly1, it is a totally different type weather for just about all the states. My foxglove has not died down either, which I find really odd. The different bulbs are coming up, which is not too strange, they depend on the weather pattern and sometimes it is warmer in Nov/Dec and they start sticking their green leaves up. I think you may be just a little further south than Florence so do post your first bloomers. We will be waiting to confirmation that spring has sprung somewhere. Linda B

My hyacinths are poking thru the ground. My snapdragons are still green but no buds yet.

My lintons have not bloomed yet but my daffadils are coming up also. It's suppose to be 10 degrees here tommorrow and saturday night. Go figure.
