Here is two of my flowers that I started before Christmas. The paper whites have been blooming for almost a week now. I will not plant them again for they stink. The amarylis is doing great. I have about 6 different amarylis plants started so I will be posting pictures of them as they come in bloom. This one is number 1. Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yes the paper white has a pungent scent, one that really gets to my sinuses. So I never do those indoors. One time right as the daffodils were blooming so nicely, we were to get a freeze. I went out and picked all the blooms/buds. Man after a day I had to toss them out. That scent really got to me. I prefer to enjoy them out of doors. LB |

Here are some more pictures of #1 amarylis. The pictures are a little dark but you can still see the flowers and it still have 5 more flowers to open. This amarylis is one that I bought at a hardware store that comes in a kit with the dirt puck. It sure is doing great. My other amarylis are coming along good to that I had bought at the same time. I hope I didn't confuse you. The Hawaiin Ti is not an amarylis, but a houseplant. It doesn't make seeds, but I'd be glad to send you a division of it when it warms up some. PM me. |
