Okay, so i'm late at replying. Never go with cheap seed, you pay in the long run. You may try this....... You can train your birds to feed when you want them to come by filling or partially filling your feeders at certain times of the day. Say you want them to feed before work, after work, in the evening etc. they will get the idea, especially if you offer good stuff. Birds have a feeding territory and know where all the feeding stations are so they wont starve and they will learn when its time for the good stuff. Plant shrubs and flowers that offer fruits, seeds and even nsects. You will be amazed. Ron www.gardening-for-wildlife.com |

OK, we are in the north, and we do NOT do grits! Can I substitute oatmeal, do you think? I'm not sure that our grocery stores even carry grits! Don't know if I've ever even seen it unless I was in the south! |
