I thought I'd share photos of my planted fish tanks, since they're most most green things around these parts in the winter! The first is my oldest tank, the pic is a bit old, 3 months because I've had major algae issues and have done massive trims, so it's bare and ugly right now. The 2nd my newest, and soon to be the coolest, pic is a month old, tank, 3 months old with Red Cherry Shrimp. The last is my favorite tank, a 5 gal, the others are 10. This one has the fewest algae issues, only one type and also has RCS. Attachments:    |

Oh, very pretty. My father used to raise tropical fish. I hadn't thought about just raising the plants. Good idea. |

Very pretty! I noticed that the guy that was doing our taxes had a huge tank, but all the plants were plastic! I wanted to say something, but hey, he's doing my TAXES. I kept my mouth shut! |
