I found this growing yesterday under a weeping cypress tree. It does not look like any weeds we usually grow here. I have not planted any seeds in this spot, but had planted 2 lilies in the spring that pretty much just disappeared this fall. These are only about 2" tall and there are 4 or 5 of them in the same area. Don't want to pull anything that's not a weed. This is my Dad's (now deceased) flower bed, so don't know if it may be something he planted. It's strange to me that it would start growing this time of year. Thanks for any help you can give. Kinda looks like Snapdragon seedlings to me. Perhaps he had some an it self sowed. |

I'm with trudy, it looks like something that has self sown. Snapdragon is a good guess. LB |

It does have a purplish tint and yes it's fairly close to the snaps, but the leaves look a little too wide. Thanks, will keep an eye on them and let you know. Snaps do seed very well here and I still have many blooming. |

You guys were right, it is a snap dragon, some are already blooming. There are several plants coming up in this flower bed. Don't want too many of them, but will leave them to do their thing until it's time to start planting again in the spring. Thanks!! |
