My perennial mums i planted in late October i had to cut blooms off when they died and since ive done that i haven't had any new buds open and some parts of a few stems look brown? What could be wrong and what should i do to make them healthy? |

Tura, What zone are you in? Mums will bloom, and need to be trimmed, go dormant, and then bloom again. At least in my zone (9) they do... it some of the other zones they will only bloom once a year. More info, please. |

The stems wills start to brown and die off, but the plant will come back from the ground. cut the dead stems off. |

Mine die back to nothing, but I leave a little bit of the stem just so I know where exactly it is in the ground. It sounds like yours are fine so far. |
