Rashell, your plummies look pretty good! Good info you provided as well. I'm in zone 9a with lots of humidity so that really helps these babies. Some days and nights, you can go outside and feel like you are in a sauna. One of my plumerias, the one in pot, is in a very large pot. I think I used Scott's potting soil with perlite or either cactus mix with perlite. Drainage is very important as you said. Keep us posted on your progess, as well as everyone else that has commented in this thread. |

They looked a lot better when I just got them pinkdamsel. Only I had to keep them in water for a while until I bought the soil. I still think they will grow very nice if i take care of 'em right! I'll update. Question: know what color flowers these have? If not it's okay. I like them all! Bugnut yours look great!

Hey Rashell, Finally planted my Joshua seed from you a week or so ago. I now have 2 or 3 inch plantlets would you believe! Back to subject - You could have left your plumeria without water until you got your soil. When I purchased them in the quarter, they were NOT in water. I think the seller sealed them off somehow, but not sure. Anyway, you should have a pink one and a red one. There should be a pink dot to the top on one and a red dot on the other. Keep us posted on their progress and good luck! Carolyn, your plumeria looks great. Do you know the color? The day I bought Rashell's I also got some for myself and planted inground. One is already blooming. I'll have to post a pic. My huge plumeria in a pot has not bloomed yet either. |

Hello. I just joined this forum because i don't know if I planted my Plumeria "stick" right. I brought it back from Hawaii last September. Now I have a stick in a pot. It didn't come with directions So I don't know if it is planted correctly. Help. It isn't doing anything. |

What zone are you in? How deep, and in what did you plant it? Does it get full sun or shade? How long ago did you plant it? |

I think I am in 6. I mixed good soil and sand in a plastic pot. I was looking thru the older blogs and saw some of the pics. I wasn't sure if I should have plant in deeper or watered it differently. It sounds like they are a picky breed of flower. Mine is getting a little squishy and darkening up a little. To much water? |
