I had some fertilizer (8-8-8) that apparently I have missed the last 2 seasons. It has been open (it was contained in a bucket), but moisture, apparently from the air, has gotten in to the bag, and the fertilizer is moist. It still smelled like fertilizer (a little). Do you think it's still good? I am planning to use it anyway, just wondering if it still has any 'value'. |

I may be wrong, but even if it's lost some of it's oomph, it should still be good to add to the garden or mixed with potting soil. I just couldn't think of any reason not to use it somehow! If I'm wrong, these good folks on GG will let us know

Darn right it's still good! Just be careful not to get it on your hands - it might burn. |

Good-I've gotten 2 ya's! I used it, and yes, I do use gloves when messing with fertilizer. I had a real good friend who was into gardening, like me, and she had breast cancer. Her doctor EMPHASIED, USE GLOVES when using the sprays and fertilizers, because our bodies will absorb them through our skin. I didn't know that then, but I am carefull now. |
