Sheet Composting Help ? I plan to spread out now the compost/horse barn and premixed container soil/ with that moldy bale of hay that is 1/2 composted and till in the ground. I thought I would add a layer of green grass clippings next week (taht I have access too). till in also. The oak leaves are starting to fall so within a few weeks I will cover my spring planting area with about 3"-4" leaves and till in also throughing on about 4-6 lbs. cotten seed meal @ 100 sf, area. Then put the area to rest with a covering of hay . One month before palnting I shall till in the hay cover and soil test before planting.
