I promised pictures of our pumpkin event and here are just a few! For the past 18 years our family and friends have carved about 150 pumpkins each Halloween and display them for the community. Over the years people encouraged us to take donations so we any money people give us goes to a charity, this year it was our local "Meals on Wheels" a food service for home-bound elderly people. We display them Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 and we have had about 700-800 people show up. It's a tradition now and everyone loves it. My house is full of pumpkin mess afterwards, but it's a fun family time that takes the focus off the scary, evil of Halloween and puts it on to helping others. Hope you enjoy the picts. The first one is during the day as we are setting up and the last one is my grandson with his first pumpkin! Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Those are some incredible designs. My grands here in town, did one each. She used a design and he did his own thing. Both came out great. Those designs take a lot of time to complete. I agree with the fact that you should be on at least your local news and then they could get it to the national news. Look out Today show, here come the pumpkins. Linda B |
