Just wondering if it is a good idea to mulch mints.. I believe they like their soil moist, so I'm guessing mulch is a good thing. I haven't mulched it yet..what do y'all think? Edit: The mints are planted in a 7' x 1' enclosed raised bed. Don't know if I'm describing it right..I buried a rectangular shaped wooden frame in the ground. It measured about 7' long by 1' wide by 8" high. I buried it almost halfway into the ground..so the mints are about 5" above ground level. |

My mints have always lived in the pine needles. They seem extremely happy--sometimes too dang happy! |
