Yep I'm in Los Angeles County. Red Flag warning all over but the mountains surounding us are clear (no dry brush). Most dry brush on near by mountains have either burned from previous fires or the mountains have been cleared up because of new construction. We are near San Fernando Valley fire but not close enough. Most everyone in our neighborhood also does their part in cleaning around their homes. If we are to beware of anything, it would be the crazy wind. It'll probably blow us away! I moved in all my potted plants and herbs inside our sunroom because the wind was blowing all my pots away. I hear two people have died. Praying for their family and friends. Here is some news & info. from the LAFD site for anyone interested. http://lafd.org/ |

Yeah, I saw this on the news today. I hope everyone continues to stay safe. There's been quite a few structures lost already. |

Many tel. lines are out too. Haven't been able to talk to my brother, his phone is out. I haven't heard about any fire in his immediate area but just heard on the news there is one near by. Also heard the fire got worse overnight.
