I wanted to bump this up because ......... well, I think it's almost time, ladies and gents. Even since I took this picture, they have failed SO much. Oh, please help me to do this ~ it's SO hard. Found Keywee this morning sitting IN her water dish ~ yup, whole body-bath. I don't think they can see me anymore, let alone hear. They have started to fail REAL fast ~ Sindee backs away from me because I think she only sees shadows. But heck, they still love to eat and they ARE still poopstains ~ literally. What oh what to do ...............

Oh KeyWee, I so feel for you. Having been in your position before, I do not wish that on anyone. I so believe that they will tell you when it is time, though. I'm sure that I do not need to tell you, but do enjoy all the precious time that you have left with them. And yes, they are so-o-o-o cute!! What adorable kids you have! |

Ahhh KeeWee, my heart hurts for you. I echo Skellog's sentiments. I sent my husband when my sweet Ellie (photo day before she left in my animals album) was terminal....sooooo difficult. Everybody knew it was time, I just couldn't let go-you will know when it's time. Take care of yourself, take tons of photos as well.~Andrea |

My good friend next door who two years ago had four dogs is now down to one. She said to me that is what happens when all your wonderful pets are too close in age. The one remaining is only a few years old and a delight. It has been a hard two years for her. Will be thinking of you and your little friends. |

Thank you ALL for your kind words. Garden98 I looked at your picture of Ellie and oh-my-gosh what a sweetie! I have decided to take them to their groomer once more and see what she says (as opposed to a vet's no-nonsense opinion). She is a dear and loves them ~ and they love her too. Since she has health problems (MS) and takes in MANY unwanted animals, she has the heart and soul of an angel. She will have words of wisdom, I'm sure. Plus she knows their little dog-bodies better than anyone
