The Weather Channel sends a crew to your area!
They have a crew at Va. Beach (about 15 mins away) right now.
This coastal system has been really kicking up the wind and surf- to the tune of almost 18 feet!!!!
We've had gusts inland where I live near 40 mph, and even some tidal flooding near us too!
If it was winter they would be calling this a Nor'Easter
Gotta love the fall weather

LOL about the "S" word
We don't usually get cold enough for that!
Today has been very yucky- windy with lots of heavy rain.
When I went to the grocery store this morning the water on the roads had whitecaps!

Now CNN or one of those networks has a crew at the beach.
They keep pushing back the expiration of the wind advisory- first it was noon today, then 4, then 7- not sure yet if they extended it again.

My mini rose is just loaded with buds after I gave it a bit of coffee last week
Hope you don't need that snowblower any time soon Sass!

We had a most beautiful sunset this evening, thanks to your storm, Aurora! We could use some of that rain though, but not too much, mkay?
