hey all

i'm pretty thick in seeds for Aristolochia grandiflora. my vines in my yard are robust and have been flowering steady for a year, at least. i have a lot of seed pods out there on the vine.

look here for a photo of A.grandiflora:

i also have a limited supply of Aristolochia ringens...so far, my vines have only produced a few flowers and two seed pods.

look here for a photo of A.ringens:

these are tender perrenials. if anyone living in the extreme south or anyone in the north with a greenhouse is interested in growing these incredible flowers, let me know and i'll send you some seeds and instructions for germinating them.

and if you have some other species of Aristolochia or some interesting Asclepias, i'd love to get some of those. but if you have nothing to swap, that's ok too.

hi carol

i have a couple species of dutchman's pipevines (Aristolochias) but they're tropical and not at all hardy enough for indiana winters. do you have a greenhouse?

if you don't have a greenhouse, i suggest you try Aristolochia durior...they're cold hardy and robust. you can probably find those plants at a local nursery.

if you have a greenhouse, let me know where you want me to send you some A.grandiflora and A.ringens seeds in a private message.

hello, i came across your blog entry and was wondering if you had any of the pipe vine seeds left.
i don't have much to trade. this was my first garden this year. i grew miniature purple morning glories and marigolds.nothing too exciting. other than that i would gladly send you postage if you don't want seeds. i hear the butterflies are attracted to them and would love to grow it for them. let me know thanks!
