Anyone can ID this bug in my tomato plant? Thank you and appreciated.

It is about 1/4 inch lenght and i can see the black-dotted eyes clearly. Bright-yellow color with spikes all over. Slow-moving and sapped up my tomato trees. All the leave just wilted, browned in a week. I tried using garlic spray but it didn't eliminated them.

That's the larva of the Mexican bean beetle. It shouldn't do any harm to your tomatoes, but a gaggle of them will decimate a bean plant in just a few hours. If you squish it, yellow ichor oozes out.

You probably didn't need to know that.
