You guys are so great. I had a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic over the weekend and ended up in the hospital. Got out late yesterday. I'm so totally whooped, can hardly move, so just been sitting here checking your topics every once in a while. I want to be outside pulling the weeds out of the flower beds, but my body is rebelling. Did get the flowers watered, but had to set up the sprinkler. I'm not handling the heat very well. Your comments and blogs are keeping the blues away, so Thank You!!

Have a question, if I am watering morning glories too much, could that be the reason the blooms are so tiny and hidden behind all of the leaves??

Maybe too much food? Have you fertilized or used rich compost there?

When my neighbors blackeyed susan vine was not blooming well, someone told her to keep the tips of the vines clipped off. It really worked. Seems the plant was too much into growing instead of flowering. Don't know if that will work with MG's but you could try. Linda B

Thanks, and yes I was feeding these every 7 days because they were planted with so many other flowers. It makes sense, 'cause I've grown MG's before in sand with no feeding and had tons of huge blossoms all summer long.

Thank you so much, never had anything like that happen before and sure don't want to go through it again. My hands were so swollen by the time I got to the hospital, they were blue. Little scary. My son took me to the hospital and he tries to stay so calm, but I can tell when he's scared, so I always act like it really isn't as bad as it really is. He stayed in the emergency room with me for 7 hours until they finally told us what was wrong and admitted me. After about hour 5 I had to beg him to go eat dinner. Took some convincing, but he went. Like I said in the original post, all of you are great and I throughly enjoy this site. Only one I blog on. Hugs to all of you!!

So sorry you have been sick. I'm glad that you're feeling better now. Hopefully you will regain your strength soon and get back to pulling those dreadful weeds out of your garden.

I have several allergies and when you have a flareup.. it is scary and definately no fun. Glad you are on the path to recovery! Be sure to keep information with you about your allergy or to wear a bracelet of necklace indicating that.
