I have a hydrangea that I've barely kept alive for 2 years, it's in a pot now but was in the ground at one time and almost died, it's in dapple shade in good soil with good drainage and get's feed and watered regularly, it get's pretty hot where I live so I wonder if that's part of the problem . If anybody has any sugesstions please advise, I need your help. Here's a pic.

Down there in Florida I would keep it in full shade and definitely keep the soil moist. Not sure how far south in FL you are, but it might be pushing it for some types of hydrangeas that far south.

Thanks for the feed back, I have to remember that some plants at local gardening centers don't always grow well in our area, but I'm sure giving it a good shot.

Don't you just hate when nurseries sell plants that are NOT suited to your climate/zone?
Best of luck with it

Lots of mulch and water. Good luck.
