Just had to share my first Datura Inoxia bloom with you! I'd been watching the bud for a few days. I then had to go out of town. When I returned, my Datura was beginning to open. This this morning, I saw it in full bloom!

It is beautiful. I noticed that my big white brugs are just full of buds right now. They seem to have liked the change in temps from almost 100 to the upper 80's. Can't wait to take new pix of these wonderful plants. Linda B

Thanks Linda. I was so thrilled to see my Datura in bloom. I planted 9 variety seeds and only Datura Inoxia seeded and bloomed for me! The bloom only last one day tho. But that's okay. I hope to get more blooms on this bush.
Will keep yall posted!

Good luck with your white brugs. I'll look forward to your pics!

Thanks stereoman!

It doesn't appear I will be getting more blooms from Datura at this time. The solitary bloom did go to pod tho!

I had lots of blooms from the plants my mom gave me but now something is eating the leaves and flowers.

Glad I can at least see them in pictures! Yours is beautiful.

Aren't they lovely? I'll have at least one in my garden every year from now on.

grasshoppers or caterpillars. at least this is what I was told. I did see a couple grasshoppers a few days before the plant damage.
