Hello, I planted a myer lemon tree about 3 yrs ago and I still don't have any lemons. I can't understand it because when I got it, it had lemons on it that was one of the reason why I brought it (I did'nt have to wait for it to bare fruit). I feed on an a regular basis, I did notice some leaf miner tracks on the leaves so I sprayed it a few times and it seemed to go away, theres lots of folige but no fruit, any thoughts on this matter?

You are probably over-feeding. What type of fertilizer do you use?

Citrus should generally be fed no more than 4 times a year. The University of Florida has tons of information on Citrus trees. Try typing a search for Meyer Lemon or Lemon and it should be one of the top results. Look for the ufl in the web address.

Citrus also needs additional nutrients like chelated iron and magnesium during the hot summer months. My lemon tree was tiny when I first purchased it, but after one iron application it went crazy! This year I have several lemons on my tree. I've picked a few while still green though..I'm not very patient.

As I stated earlier, the University of Florida web site is an excellent source. If you speak spanish, I can give you a phone number to an excellent local nursery that specializes in determining and correcting problems in fruit trees.
