I'm new to the site, and am just embarking on my lifelong learning experience growing plants. I am interested in growing food, but I also plan to start growing flowers, houseplants, and probably cacti due to the fact that I live in the desert. I am currently experimenting with about 20 plants indoors under a grow light (I have a switchable MH/HPS light setup), in hydroponic setups. While I know very little about hydroponics and the ins and outs of continually providing ideal conditions for the plants' roots structures, I'm learning plenty from my trials. In addition to what I already have going hydroponically, I plan on starting other dirt-planted plants in the next week or so. While I don't have a whole lot of experience hydroponically speaking, I have studied it pretty extensively. I am always willing to share and exchange information and ideas! Feel free to ask me anything if you're interested in hydroponics, I will do my best to be a good resource for that. I will also be interested in seed swaps once I'm getting some viable seeds out of my plants. I hope to get to know the fellow gardeners on this site; I have found some very helpful information in the few days since I've come here.
