Are the more crinkly ones the brandywine? They look a little pinker than the smooth ones, too.

The 2 on the left are brandy boys and the right one is brandywine . After they are off the vine its hard to tell the difference until i taste them. the b b has a little more acid taste.

I have 2 beefsteak plants and they are not enough for us. Next year I plan to do at least 3 beefsteak plants and 3 moneymaker. Whatever those are. I never heard of them.
We use tons of tomato for soups, slicing, sauces. 6 is probably not enough but it's certainly better than 2.

chrispaul97,, To many tomato's are never enough. lol... But i see you started a new garden and i think you have the right idea by adding a few at a time.6 home grown are better than all the cardboard store tomato's combined.Good luck
