All very beautiful. Is that a chincherinchee? I've only seen pictures of the bloom. Can you do a whole plant? Would it grow in zone 9?

Oh the lilies. Oh my. Are they tigers, or Turks caps?

Thanks Carolyn & Steve.

Carolyn, the white flower is a hydrangea. This one came from Heronswood years ago, Hydrangea paniculata 'Unique'. Mosaic2007 & I saw it in their display garden and had to have it. Unfortunately, it has not performed well in either of our gardens, it should be 10' by now, not a lowly 3'!
I do believe the lily is a Tiger, Steve. Unfortunately, I did not journal the bulbs I planted. I just added them last year, I need to read about growing the seeds on the stem.

I have a lily bloom coming on from some bulbs I bought at the Chelsea Flower Show-lime green with burgandy center-will share those when they pop.

Have a great day and hope you get in the garden~Andrea

Yes, I would be happy to share seeds, have you ever grown them? I have no idea what to do with them.

Here are some more blooms from today. I bought the green & burgandy lily bulbs at the Chelsea Flower show in May, but after finding out I couldn't bring them back-I left the package at my SILs house. While unpacking back home, I discovered the package between garden pamphlets-oops!

I also added a photo of my sweet Gracie at my feet as I typed this~Andrea

Thank you Dgoss, the second site was especially informative. I plan on trying a few. I will also send some to Moasic2007 and Pinkdamsel. Would you like some as well? If so, please PM your address.
Thanks again for the info~Andrea

Great pictures. All are just gorgeous. What is the name of the flower above the tiger lily. That one really caught my eye and would love to have some of them. They are so colorful and would really brighten up my garden.
