recycled mail box uses anyone?

I saved the mail box from grandma and grandpas house we sold, for sentimental reasons. Anyone have any ideas how to use it in my garden? thanks tura

I always liked my MIL's idea. She put an old mailbox on a post in the middle of her backyard. Planted a small flower bed around it. Inside, she always kept a spare set of gardening tools and a pair of gloves. Beats having to trek back to the shed to grab a scissors!

You could plant it and leave the door opened to possibly get a bird to nest in it.

I tend to leave tools all over the yard. Dh bought a large mail box and stuck it on a post with hooks on the side... Now I can always find my pruners, sissors, twine, etc right in the mail box where he put it after picking up after me.

How about making it a bird-feeder as well as a small storage space..?

I got a old mail box in a yard sale and I'm thinking aobut cutting a good size hole in the top and put a flower in it...I think it would be pretty....reba/La.
