Mutant Vegetables

It seems like at least once every year while harvesting vegetables, I come accross something that is misshapen or malformed. I bet a lot of other gardeners do too. Here is a picture of a two-pronged carrot I pulled recently. I've shown you mine, now you show me yours!

Ah, you could put a head and arms on him and make a cute decoration for the kitchen.

Oh, it's not a did wrong thing, y'all. It's the effect of the lowly root knot nematode, a microorganism that causes the carrot root to split that way. It does no harm to the carrot's flavor or nutritive value.

Nobody else has any odd, different, or unusual vegetable pictures to share? Well, these ones aren't shaped funny, but, I thought they were different. The first picture is a red or purple carrot, I liked the colors in the cross-section. The next picture is of some white beets. These were new to me this year:

we really havent harvested anything yet this year here so really cant be much strange lol--i think 3 peppers an a few cherry tomatoes lol
