Hi I am new to the site and a novice gardener. I live in Georgia so it is terribly hot here but the gardening has been great this year. Hope to learn about a lot of tips esspecially compost and organic gardening.

Hi, I'm new too and I'm also from Georgia. Welcome! I know it's been a hot and dry summer, but fall will be here soon!

Welcome to Garden Guides from hot and sunny South Carolina. I'm in no hurry for fall, though. I hope that you will enjoy your stay here and learn all kinds of new things. Have fun.

Hello! I have recently started a compost pile, directly on the ground! I layered my materials, and put a piece of 6 x 6 heavy landscape fabric on top. with all the sun we have here, it should cook pretty fast!
Welcome to the south!
