I am growing 2 slicing cucumbers in a 5 gallon pot. They started out growing beautifully, but after they started to fruit, they started growing very strangely. My cucumbers are half green and half light green and yellowish!! I assure you, they are not overipe; that is how they are growing. I had been finding 2-4 inch cukes half green and half light green and yellowish. The leaves are turning light green with a yellowish tinge and then they start to brown and curl at the edges. I don't see any visible signs of disease or bugs. I water them regularly. I live in Maryland and our summers are very warm and humid. I added about a teaspoon of lime about 2 weeks ago and nothing. I don't know what else to do.

this happened to my plants last week and it was just random... I figured that they were getting too much sun so I moved them to an area that was pretty much shaded but still got a little morning sun (mine are in pots) and then took off all the browning leaves and they are happy again and growing new leaves and climbing.
