Hi, I just joined today. Found this forum using Stumble Upon. I normally hang out on the Garden Web forums and sometimes the HGTV ones. I live in Georgia, just a bit north of Atlanta. I mostly garden with natives, but have a few special (to me) non-native plants - who doesn't like spring daffodils and summer gardenias? I enjoy helping to identify plants and helping people learn more about gardening with natives by suggesting native plants when ideas are requested. |

Hi Ga Girl. Glad you joined. I was just talking to my sister who lives north of Atlanta in a town called Cumming this morning about native plants to her area. Please do let me know if you have a list to share, a site to visit or a local nursery. The just moved there last year and hasn't found a good nursery yet. She has this natural area that she created in her back yard with a hammock and bird feeders and is now ready to plant some native things. Thanks for any info you have. Have fun perusing GG. |

Welcome, ga_girl, from beautiful Asheville NC. I used to hang out at that "other" garden site too. I feel more at home here. Maybe you will too. Happy gardening! |
