My cherry tomatos are in full go!!!! however my Big reds and my romas are plenty but still green. I have heard that cherry tomotos tend to be faster but is there anything I should know about the other types? I have grown cherry tomatos for years but this year is the first time I have tried to grow other kinds.

Is there a way I can get them to turn red. Could there be something wrong that why they are not turning?

Nope, don't worry. The only thing needed is time. They will ripen. Nice looking tomatoes too! I've been picking my grape tomatoes for several weeks and just picked the first two big boys on Saturday.

LOL~Oh, I have the perfect spot for my chair! I can sit under my deck! I'll have shade and then I can have the garden hose in one hand and a drink in the other!

Well if it wasn't for the rest of my garden dying from something I would not worry so much. I just get things looking amazing and then just when things start to produce it starts to die.

That mater plant looks great, Family! In your zone, you'd be doing magic to get full-size tomatoes ripe this early in the summer. Heck, I've gone many a year until mid-August before I had a ripe full-size tomato. The cherry and grape varieties do ripen much faster. Tide you over til you get the big ones LOL!

My full size just started coming in like ten days ago - very early for me, and remember I'm in zone 6!

I am VERY happy with the amount of tomatos I got on ALL my plants this year! They are very large and I'm hoping to make some homemade spagetti sauce with them.

This weekend my in-laws camped in our back yard and we were able to make salads from stuff in our garden. I had enough cherry tomatos and the cukes and lettuce. It was great to be able to gather everything up! That is what it is all about!
