In the Forums Index, is there any possibility of reducing the width of the left hand column? It is using a lot of space and I have to "scroll right" to view the "last post date and time" column. If all of the page could be viewed without scrolling right, it would make navigation much easier.

Or...am I the only one experiencing this?

Rosie

Sorry for the triplicate image. When trying to upload, kept getting the "Page cannot be displayed" message so I tried and tried again.

Hello there, do you have your browser window all the way open? If I shrink mine down with the little button way up in the top right corner of the window, I too have to scroll back and forth. Be sure you have that little box in the center showing a 'double page'.

Thanks, Linda, although that doesn't solve my problem. I always keep my browser windows Maximized. The only way to resolve it from my end would be to decrease my Windows screen resolution which I really prefer not doing.

I do appreciate your response.

I have the same problem Rose. It does get annoying. I have tried everything I know how to do but nothing has helped.

Hey Maggie...thanks...I thought maybe I was the only one having a problem.

I was hoping we might get a response from admin. It may be a huge programming nightmare for them to change the layout. Just thought I'd ask in case someone was willing to work on it.

I don't know if this is going to help, but if
I don't say anything I'll never know.

I use IE7 and I do not have your problem.
I have 'zoom' set at 100% and 'text size' set at Medium
found under the 'Page' dropdown menu.

I have the left-hand side of my screen pulled in so
I do not have to view the Ads.

Thanks for the screen shot, T2B. Looks like you probably have WinXP or Vista operating system so IE7 works for you. I'm still plodding along with my beloved WinME, using IE6. IE7 doesn't play nice with WinME.

Courtney, I have my screen resolution set at 800x600 and really don't want to make it any smaller. Too much hassle changing back and forth. My original querry was posted more out of curiosity than anything. Looking at the Forums Index page, it has lots of blank real estate. lol! No biggie! I'm a member of numerous gardening and computer forums and don't encounter the situation of having to "scroll right" to view anything other than humongous images.
