It seems that since I started posting photos, on both the butterfly forum and the hummingbird forum the other members photo posts have fell to almost nothing. I want every one to know that I only post a photo because it took a lot to just get the pic, and I would love to see the photos that every one else has taken. So I challenge all to show their hummingbird and butterfly photos.

John

I don't have many butterflies-Mostly the yellow cabbage ones. Hummers are scarce here until September when they start to migrate. I have 2 that frequent my garden flowers-BUT THE DARN CATS WANT THEM! They don't sit still long enough for a photo! Your photos are professional grade, John!

Here is one of mine. A "Summer" Spring Azure. Since I met your "challenge" I offer a return challenge. The challenge is to read and respond to my post in this section titled "Taking BB Pictures".

Not seeing anything to take pictures of this year...very disappointing. But I will show you some from last year.

Big oops...don't know how that Columbine image got in there and don't know of a way to delete. Sorry about that.

I love seeing all the photos the members take, they are all wonderful. I have not had too many butterflies either this year, and only a couple of hummers. Plus have not had the time to catch them posing for me. So keep on posting everyone, we love to look. Linda B

Beautiful pics everyone!

I kinda cheated for these...taken during a visit to a little Buttefly/Nature House which is part of a beautiful nursery here in northern Michigan.

WOW you caught them mating and hatching out. Those butterfly houses are just amazing to me. Thanks for sharing your pix. LB

Oh please keep posting pictures of butterflies. I would love to have some come in my yard but so far after two years in this house I haven't seen any. Next year I plan to make a hummingbird/butterfly garden in front of my sunroom to help attract them.
