Gee! Maybe I should have introduced myself first. My name is Theresa, go by Terri and my user name is Biskutmkr. That one is a long story. My husband and I have been in the landscaping business for ten years, first in Jacksonville, North Carolina and now, here, in Crystal River, Florida. I've been interested in house plants and gardening most of my life (61 years old). I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am a Master Gardener. I found out I have a talent for landscape design and that's why my husband and I have been in the business for all this time. He has a degree in botany. I have been the designer and he has been the tractor. My health problems and hot, humid weather here have put us out of business, besides the failing economy, and we are moving to Helena, Montana next month. We'll be living in an apartment but I may keep up the design work. I have done several designs for which I had been paid that's why I may keep myself in it if I find anyone interested after we move. I know this has been a rambling intro but at least now you know something about me.

Helena, Montana - sure sounds romantic. Short gardening season though I'll bet! I thinkI know a veterinarian in Helena. Best of luck on your move - I hope your knowledge gets put to good use out there - it sure would be a waste to - well, let it go to waste! I hope we get some of it here at GG even after you move. Welcome!

Best wishes to you and Mr. Biskitmkr in your new locale! It will be very different from Jacksonville NC, that's for sure.

Happy gardening!

How interesting! I hope that you will be taking Garden Guides along with you and continue to check in and makes comments. Some of us could use all the help that we can get! Me, especially.
