The gazanias I have start out red and then go to pink. They are real pretty for the few hours they are red . . .
My mystery plant that turned out to be forget-me-nots start out the color of sapphires then fade to baby blue. I have been really enjoying them.
We have the bluebells all along the side of the house- I think they are invasive since I see them all over the neighborhood but this is one weed I don't mind having around.
We are onto the next phase in the garden now- it is hot enough for the squash to get going and for their to be some flowers on the sugar baby watermelons.
Good thing I have my little helper to help me with all this work! One thing he couldn't help with however was the making of the Mountain Dew Jelly- the recipe for which I found in the canning forum. He won't get to try it either the poor dude! That stuff is for adults only! Waaaaayyy too much sugar in the recipe.

What a cute helper you have. It's great to start them out early. I'm going to have to check out the recipe for the jelly - sounds interesting.

Your tyke is such a cutie, loco. If his disposition is as sunny as his appearance, it must be delightful to have his help in the garden!

I was just looking at your photos - on your profile page. They're very nice all of them, but I particularly like the water drop on the leaf. I really go for that look, that's one reason I love my EE's so much.

Unfortunately his disposition is not . . .he is a light sleeper and I think it affects his mood. I can handle it though. Lately he wants to pick all the tomatoes and peppers in the garden before they are ripe. We have some lipstick strawberries too and he is trained now to go searching for a berry every few days.
I have had fortunate luck with the camera I inherited from my husband when he upgraded- it takes good macros very easily. It is a Nikon Coolpix.
