Is there a safe way to get the June Bugs and Japanese Beatles to stop eating my Strawerry and Black Raspberry Leaves. I have a 4 yr old daughter and we love to eat berries stright off the plants. So no chemicals please.

There is a pretty good dialog in the roses forum about japanese beetles, and how to control them. It looks like a few good non chemical ways. Or of course someone could pop up with more suggestions.

Welcome to GG, GG. Other than hand picking, that's the only way I know. But! Take heart! They won't be here much longer. They'll be over and done with in a few more weeks.

I saw in other thread (I can't remember where ) that putting soapy water into a white bucket will trap and kill them.
