I walked out into the garden this morning to have sugar snap peas staring me right in the face! I was like, "Where did you come from!?" I had seen the blossoms but didn't see any actual food growing until today. They must blend right in. Does anyone know how long (judging from the picture) until they will be good to eat? they have to only be a few days old . . .
I also got totally impatient and dug up a potato plant just to see if anything was going on. . . I was happy to see these!
Only 3 blueberries but oh well . . .maybe next year the plants will mature.

Those blueberries are so cute, loco. I have exactly one blueberry on my three newly planted blueberry bushes.

Isn't that the most fun of all? How things just appear! Keep your eye on the size of the peas in the pod. When they look about the size that you like, pick one and shell it. If that's what you like, then pick them. It can be deceptive. Sometimes they look larger than they really are.
