I've already been welcomed by several members and one suggested I post an introduction so here goes. I love the information on this site as well as the friendly members. I might not post or blog but I do read some of the posts and look at your pictures. There is so much to see on this site that it is kind of overwhelming for a newbie like me. I thought you would like to see our dutchman's pipe we have growing up the side porch of our little cottage. My husband has the green thumb but I do the buying. Since we started planting perennials a few years back, we have cut back on buying zillions of annuals. Now I've started getting roses for gifts on holidays and mother's day and it's all I can do to keep them alive. I'm looking forward to meeting some other members that grow roses. Thanks for all your welcomes! Attachments: ![]() |

OMG! Dutchman's Pipe is one of my absolute FAVE native plants! It's considered rare, but I've found a dozen places where it grows in abundance. I find the idea of attracting flies with a flower that smells like stale ur . . . I mean, Budweiser beer is totally fascinating! Welcome to the boards! Enjoy your stay! Happy gardening! |
