The mower deck looked like swiss cheese so it's history, but my wonderful husband told me to get the tractor repaired if I wanted. So for the cook out at mom's today I hitched up the trailer and loaded the goodies to take to her house across the street. It's only an 8 hp, but it's got so much power to it and it's fun to drive. It's got a lot more clearance than the Cub we mow with so it's better for me to putter around the yard on especially if there's tree roots involved.

I just thought I'd share it with you. I came across the street and noticed both my son and his g/f were standing there with cell phones poised to take my picture.

I just saw this! Great pic. I'm glad that they were loaded and ready to "shoot" you!
We gave my son a trailer for his mower. He uses it for everything, and he loves it. It's a real handy thing. That's one of the best gifts I think that we have ever given him. At least it gets used!

Now whenever I read your posts I will picture you just the way you are, smiling on that wheel horse.

Is that your vintage car across the street?

Wonderful pic!
I have the exact same trailer for our Deere. I LOVE it and use it all the time. It also makes a great coldframe in the winter with the addition of 2 old windows and mulch on the inside

Wow! That's an awesome idea!! I have another trailer that's bigger that has a broken axle, but it would be perfect for some old storm windows mom gave me. I never thought to use it as a cold frame. Dad built the frame for it and it has fiberglass panels on the sides so that would work very well.

And no, that's not a vintage car. That's my son's "yacht." My mom sold it to me and I sold it to him. He's about 6'5" so it's a good fit for him.

Don't let that smile fool ya!
