Hi everyone,

I am looking to dry some raspberry leaves to make my own tea this year. Does anyone have an idea as to when the leaves are best for tea?

Thanks,

I've never done it and couldn't find any useful information about it. I would assume when the leaf just reaches maturity and not old. I'm sure the younger leaves would be the ones with the most essential oils.

I've heard that the best time to collect the leaves is just before the canes flower. However, it isn't the only time. Younger leaves and any volunteer canes that appear where you don't need them are certainly sources for delicious tea
