I sure hope someone has seen these because I am not sure how to decribe them.

I have seen them take the elphant ear leaf and cover it with a concret mixture and make an ornement for the garden or a bird bath

BUT I need the mixture to do it any ideas ??

seems it was concrete ( no rocks)... and maybe fiberglass

while I am looking what about the mixture for pots seams it had peat and perilite in it

Help

That was in a flyer for a new magazine similar to Birds and Blooms. My mom wants me to make one, too. I can't remember the name of the magazine though. It's a new one.

The name of the magazine is Garden Gate. I tried to find it on their website, but it's timing out on the first page and asking to check back later.

Here is one I made before katrina. I painted mine and dry brushed tones of red and gold on it.

Here is an URL for the Garden Gate Mag. I just went to the mag site, then online extras and there was a place for this project. My neighbor tried her hand at this during the summer and did really well.

Have fun.

I just love this project. You should post it in the how-to's if you haven't already. It's so beautiful. I could see 2 or three of these stacked up as a fountain. My mom once made a fountain out of satellite dishes. They kept changing their service and was suck with the equipment, so a satellite dish fountain was made. It was rad, but i think the elephant ear things would be prettier.
