The first three photos are of a shrub(?) I planted several years ago. The people at our local nursery are stumped. I should have posted it here first! It is deciduous and gets quite large (over 5'), delicate leaves w/occasional clusters of small flowers. The second photo shows the growth habit, many plants are growing through the center (crambe, euphorbia, maple, etc). It responds well to hard pruning. What an odd feeling to have an unidentified plant in your garden that YOU purchased....This experience should teach me to catalog my purchases! The last two photos are of a tree (10') and then a large shrub (or perennial) I saw in London last month. I previously posted a request for identification under this forum w/zero response. I am hopeful more people are reading the forums and one will recognize these plants. BTW-the shrub/perennial had characteristics of Euphorbia. Thanks in advance for you assistance~Andrea Attachments: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The last picture looks like an oleander to me. Maybe someone with more knowledge can help you with the others... |

The second to last picture looks like some sort of sumac to me. I have no idea what the others are, but are really cool! |

I tried to ID the first plant when you posted but I couldn't find what it is. Bumping up for all us to try again.

I think the last one is some kind of palm. |

Thanks for all the help. I am going to write to the park where I saw the two plants in London, we have all searched enough! Also, I will take a snip of my shrub to the UW Horticulture Department. I will post the results when I get them-on vacation next week so it will be in August~Andrea |
